Volunteers and investigators refuse to give up searching for north Morgan Hill resident Sierra LaMar.

Last week, Gilroy police made quite a few arrests for burglary and crimes related to drugs or alcohol, as well as a felon who was carrying a concealed shotgun, and a man who tried to steal porn. Here are a few incidents.  

A former Gilroy resident who endured a debilitating car accident in 2009 on U.S. 101 in Monterey County near the Red Barn flea market has won a $4.55 million settlement from Caltrans, the estate of the other driver and Monterey County.

The sentencing date for a former San Jose police officer from Gilroy charged with illegal sexual contact with two teen boys has been moved from April 30 to May 7.
