The Gilroy Police Department has concluded their investigation into the owner who fled the scene when his pit bull attacked a dachshund at Starbucks on First Street on July 14, causing the dachshund to be euthanized and causing non-life threatening injuries to its owner.Â
A woman who was injured after an erratic vehicle ran her off the road and sent her car careening into a ravine, is offering a reward for information about the suspect's identity.
Gilroy police made arrests for a variety of crimes over the last week, including assault with a firearm, robbery, possession of tear gas and driving under the influence. Arrests were recorded in the Gilroy Police Department blotter between Sept. 16 and 23 and compiled using public records.
