A veteran San Mateo County Sheriff's deputy and Gilroy resident accused of routinely molesting his daughter over the course of six years appeared Tuesday in South County Superior Court in Morgan Hill, where his bond modification hearing was continued until Thursday. A 62-year-old Morgan Hill woman was found dead inside her trailer at the Thousand Trails RV Park in an unincorporated area near Morgan Hill Thursday afternoon, according to the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office who conducted the investigation. Authorities have ruled out foul play and say Alberta Silva, 62, died from natural causes.
