Police drew their guns while arresting two alleged drug dealers

Margaret Lorraine Fitzgerald

Margaret "Peggy" Fitzgerald, 89, of White Salmon,WA, died on July 24, 2010, at home. Born Margaret Lorraine Thomas on August 5, 1920, in Gilroy, she was the daughter of the late James Edward Thomas and the late Evelyn Margaret Stanley. Raised on a ranch in Gilroy, she graduated from Gilroy High School and moved to San Francisco to pursue a nursing career. It was while attending school that she met and married her late husband, Howard William Lytle, MD, of Stockton. Making their home in San Jose, Peggy and Howard had two children–the late Bill Lytle and Diane Lytle. After the passing of her husband, Howard, in 1988, Peggy rekindled her relationship with her high school sweetheart, Leo Fitzgerald of Stockton. They were married in 1991 and lived in Stockton until his passing in 1997. After his death, Peggy re-located to White Salmon, WA to be closer to her family. Peggy is survived by her daughter, Diane Barkhimer of White Salmon, WA; step-son Michael Fitzgerald of Stockton; grandchildren, Erik and Kirk Barkhimer, Alicia Lord, Lauren and Daniel Lytle,and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers Ben and Jack Thomas of Gilroy, and her son Bill Lytle of Palm Springs. Peggy will be inurned at 2:00 P.M. August 9, 2010, in Oak Hill Memorial Park, San Jose next to her husband, Howard. In celebration of Peggy's life, contributions can be made to: Hospice of the Gorge, 1630 Woods Court, Hood River,OR 97031.

Rodolfo Suarez Reyes

Rodolfo Suarez Reyes was born in Baguio City, Philippines on December 27, 1939, the youngest of eight children. He passed surrounded by his loved ones at El Camino Hospital early Sunday morning, July 25th, 2010, at 3:45 A.M. Rodolfo proudly served the United States Navy for 20 years, enlisting in 1965.
