The Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office is warning residents about an email scam circulating across the bay area in which an unknown sender threatens the reader with an unexpected eviction.
Students take ‘responsibility’ to repair rescue group’s fence
This past Saturday, local members of 4-H and other residents volunteered to be “responsible” by helping paint fencing for the Dreamor Ranch Foundation, a San Juan Bautista-based organization that helps at-risk minors and regular kids enjoy horse riding.
Farm Bureau hosts Teacher Appreciation Mixer Wednesday
The Santa Clara County Farm Bureau is hosting two agricultural education events for local teachers this spring. The kickoff event is a teacher appreciation mixer at Guglielmo Winery on Wednesday, March 26. The mixer will feature hosted wine, appetizers, and raffle prizes and is designed to introduce teachers to ag education. A workshop for teachers will be held Saturday, April 26 in Morgan Hill. The workshop will acquaint teachers with available ag education resources and will show teachers how to incorporate agricultural education into their curriculum.
