Lady Mustangs receive first round CCS home game vs. Mt.
Pleasant.
GILROY – They’re in and they’re home.
The Lady Mustang basketball team received a No. 4 seed in the Central Coast Section Playoffs and will host a first-round game Wednesday at 7 p.m. against No. 13 Mount Pleasant.
Gilroy (5-5 in T-CAL, 15-11 overall) returns to the postseason one year after winning its opening round game against Woodside, 60-31, before dropping a 66-43 decision to finalist Aptos.
If the Lady Mustangs advance, they will play the winner of the Fremont-Oak Grove game. Gilroy has already beaten both Fremont and Oak Grove this year.
