Angela Saccullo Ferrari died at home in Capitola, CA. of natural causes. She was born in Gilroy in 1932 and graduated from Gilroy High School in 1950. She lived most of her professional life in the San Francisco Bay area, as an office manager in the financial district. She pursued an eclectic education; earning her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts Degree in Psychology and Consciousness Studies (1997) at JFK University. She is also a graduate of The Heartsong Institute (1989) and The Monroe Institute. Angela worked as an intuitive counselor until her death. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Joseph Gauthier of Aromas, ten nieces and nephews, two great- nieces, their spouses and children.
Jess R. Bravo, passed away in Hollister, CA riding off to that final poker run in the sky where the wine flows forever and the dances never end at the age of 89 on August 12, 2010.
John "Jack" L. O'Donnell passed away Saturday at the age of 98 at Mabie Southside Skilled Nursing Facility. Born in Hollister, he was a retired apricot and walnut orchardist. Member of Sacred Heart Catholic church; Hollister Elk's Lodge, No. 1436; S.I.R.S. and San Benito county Historical Society. He is survived by his son, Jim O'Donnell
Luella M. Sawyer, 82. passed away Thur, Aug. 12 at North Bay Hospital from complications of pneumonia. She was surrounded by her family. Luella was born Apr. 20, 1928 in San Pedro, CA to John and Anna (Huff) Guidinger, the youngest of five children. She grew up in Hollister and entered the military as a WAF. She married David Sawyer in July of 1951 and had five children. As the wife of an Air Force NCO she traveled abroad to England, Morocco, Germany and many other states and finally settled in Fairfield, CA.
Betty Frances Heinberg was born in Gardenia, CA on July 28, 1921 and passed away on July 11, 2010. A long time resident of Gilroy and Morgan Hill. The wife of the former Dean of Instruction at Gavilan College. Betty was a loving mother to Craig and Susan Heinberg who graduated respectively from UCLA and Stanford.
Resident of Hollister. Passed away August 10, 2010. Husband of 52 years to Dorothy, loving father to Linda Carlos, Amy Rubino and Susie Costa. Papa to Dana and Dominique Rubino, Lindsay & John Costa, Emmi and Chris Carlos. Also a great and great great-grandfather. He was a retired Cement Mason of 40 years, member of the Hillclimbers Assoc. M.C., and Remember When Classic Car Club. The celebration of his life will be held on 09/04/10.
Age 98, born in Indiana, lived in Los Angeles and Gilroy, she passed away of congestive heart failure. Preceded in death by husband William Ervin Lynch, and daughter Nancy Jane Sanderson, she is survived by sons Robert and Thomas Lynch, and daughters Susan Kruse and Judith Lamare, 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson. She will also be missed by all her friends from Bridge and Bingo at the Gilroy Senior Center. Service Tuesday August 17, 2010, at 2:00 P.M., Gilroy Presbyterian Church.
