Charles Thomas Towe, 64, of Scottsville, KY died Monday July 26,2010, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. "Tom" was a retired real estate broker, a Vietnam Veteran and a member of E. Clampus.

Bettie J. Pedersen entered into rest on August 5, 2010, at the age of 87. She was the loving mother of James (Christine) Stapleton, Sr. and Emmett Stapleton, Jr.; cherished grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother; dearest sister of Shirley Rowe and Bonnie McFadden.

Gladys Keller, 92, of Gilroy passed away peacefully on the evening of July 29th, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Laurence, her son, Larry and sister Marion. Gladys was born in Gilroy to Alex and Anna Sturla. She was the second generation of her family born in Gilroy. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Fortino, her daughter-in-law, Susan Keller, five grandchildren- Joe Keller, Alex Keller, Lisa Andrade, Kerri Kerr and Michael Fortino- all of whom were also born in Gilroy. Gladys was very proud of her 11 great-grandchildren as well. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Hal was born in Spokane, WA and raised and educated in Kellogg, ID. He graduated from Kellogg High School and Idaho State University School of Pharmacy. He moved to Hollister in 1966. He was a long time member of the Hollister Elks Lodge. He owned and operated Whalen's Drug Store for many years before retiring and moving to Sherwood, Oregon in 1996.

Lisa Renee Mortela passed away suddenly at her home in Hollister on July 30, 2010. Lisa was a one of a kind person and lived life to the fullest. She was always the life of the party and was never at a loss for words. Lisa cherished her grandchildren and enjoyed every waking moment spent with them. Lisa is survived by her three sons, Daniel Jr., Gregory (wife, Mandy) and David Lopez and former husband, Daniel Lopez Sr.. Grandmother to Daniel, John, Nico, Lexy, Bryan, Matthew and Evan Lopez all of Hollister. Siblings, Robert (Bob) Mortela, Jeff Bagley, Sharon Tomkiewicz (Bagley), Matt Bagley and Andrea Morgan (Bagley). Lisa was preceded in death by her mother, Doris Bagley and sisters Linda Lambert and Alice Bagley.

Private cremation followed by private inurnment.

Patty Englund of Fairfield, ID passed away in her home on July 22, 2010, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her family and friends. Patty spent the best and last year of her life on her ranch in the home she recently built that overlooks her cattle pastures. She grew up in Salinas, CA and spent many years in Hollister, CA. She was the daughter of Chester and Dorothy Englund.
