Gilroy voters should cast one of their three votes for City Council for Planning Commission Chair Dion Bracco.
A lifelong resident of our city, Dion runs a business here, employs local residents and meets a payroll. He knows the need for fiscal responsibility at all levels and will be an aggressive advocate for taxpayers.
He’s a supporter of controlled growth and opposes reckless development which would increase crime, traffic congestion, or harm historic neighborhoods. He’s been in the forefront of efforts to renovate and revitalize downtown Gilroy and he’s been strong on the issue of staffing the Sunrise Fire Station and building a fourth fire station to meet the safety needs of our residents.
I particularly like the fact that Dion believes it’s the responsibility of the city to repair our deteriorating sidewalks and that homeowners should not foot the bill for what is city infrastructure. That’s what we pay our taxes for!
Please vote for Dion Bracco for City Council.
