Patricia F. Bailey died Thursday, Dec. 23, 2004 in Sunnyvale. She was 80.
Mrs. Bailey was born in Detroit, Mich., and raised in an orphanage in Two Harbors, Minn. She graduated from nursing school and became a cadet nurse. She married her late husband Bernel H. Bailey in Two Harbors and helped raise her brothers and sister. She moved and lived in many areas of the country.
She was a nurse in Two Harbors, O’Connor and Valley Medical hospitals in San Jose and Carson City, Nev. and various convalescent homes in the Gilroy and Morgan Hill area.
She is the wife of the late Bernel “Bill” Bailey; the mother of William Bailey of Lincoln, Suzanne Rodriguez of Modesto, Michael P. Bailey of San Jose, Brian Bailey of San Martin, Annette “Annie” Bailey of San Jose, Tim Bailey of Carson City, Nev., and Julie Rose of Carson City; the grandmother of 14; the great-grandmother of four; the sister of Lawrence McMullen of Arizona, Paul McMullen of Minnesota, Mary Jones of Fremont, and the late Joe McMullen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services, under the direction of Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy, were held Monday.
The family would appreciate donations to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
