Paul R. Kessler passed away in Gilroy Jan. 28, 2003. He was 56 years old.

He was the loving husband of Joann Kessler of San Martin. The devoted father of Ann Marie Guinn of Morgan Hill and her husband Darron; awesome grandpa of Madelyn (Maddie) Guinn of Morgan Hill; son of Frances Page of Kissimmee, Flor. and the late Raymond Kessler; brother of Michael J. Kessler of Fairfield, Peter Page of Trenton, NJ, Diane Murray of Kissimmee and Casey Graham of Phoenix, Ariz.; revered son-in-law of Anna O’Gorman of Daly City. He is also survived by brother and sister-in-laws in the area, nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.

He was a native of Monterey. He served in the Marines and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was vice president of the Morgan Hill Grass Farm for 25 years, owned and operated Kessler Horses in San Martin for 25 years. He was a member of many South County horse associations. He was well known for his love of horses and his willingness to help others.

Memorial Services will be Saturday, Feb. 1 at 10 a.m. at the Gilroy Presbyterian Church under direction of Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy.
