“Joe” the Bassett Hound is available for adoption at The San Martin Animal Shelter, 12370 Murphy Ave. He is 8 years old, borwn and black in color, has a great temperment and gets along well with cats and dogs. The shelter’s hours are noon to 6 p.m. Monday, Thursday and Friday, noon to 7 p.m. Wednesday and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The shelter is closed Tuesday.
