The Gilroy Police Department responded to a variety of crimes last week, including participation in a criminal street gang, infliction of bodily injury on a spouse or cohabitant and robbery. The arrests were recorded in the GPD blotter between Jan. 22 through 29.
Gang-related violence
-Tanya Haro, 19, on Jan. 28 at 7:58 a.m. near the intersection of Forest Street and Swanston Lane for felony participation in a criminal street gang, felony robbery in the second degree and felony assault with a deadly weapon.
Domestic violence
-Filog Bustamante Vasquez, 40, on Jan. 24 at 2:30 p.m. for felony infliction of bodily injury on a spouse or cohabitant, felony assault with a deadly weapon and battery on a former spouse, fiancé or friend.
-Owen Alonzo, 42, on Jan. 28 near the intersection of Monterey Highway and Farrell Avenue for false imprisonment, battery against a spouse, cohabitant or friend and felony procession as a violation for revocation.
Robbery
-Nicholas Rowan, 26, on Jan. 23 at 7:08 p.m. on the 900 block of Renz Lane for felony robbery.
-Joseph Rodriguez, 22, on Jan. 23 at 10:15 p.m. on the 600 block of East Seventh Street for felony robbery and felony assault with a deadly weapon.
Violation of a protective order
-Joseph Garibaldi, 36, on Jan. 24 at 1:36 p.m. on the 8500 block of Wren Avenue for felony violation of a protective order with prior offenses and a felony parole hole.
-Alex Espinoza, 29, on Jan. 29 at 3:24 p.m. on the 1000 block of Monte Bello Drive for violation of a protective order.
-Fernando Gonzalez, 23, on Jan. 29 at 12:05 p.m. on the 9300 block of Monterey Road for felony violation of a protective order and felony processing as a violator for revocation.
Driving under the influence
-Crystian Mendieta, 22, on Jan. 23 at 11:41 p.m. near the intersection of Hyde Park and Stratford Place for driving under the influence, driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or higher, driving on a suspended license and evading a police officer.
-Guadalupe Resendiz, 40, on Jan. 24 at 8:57 p.m. near the intersection of U.S. 101 and Masten Avenue for driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or higher and driving while unlicensed.
-Armando Mayo, 48, on Jan. 25 at 7:59 p.m. on an unidentified section of Camino Arroyo for driving under the influence, driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or higher and driving with privileges suspended or revoked.
-Shanna Jacobs, 22, on Jan. 27 at 3:06 a.m. on the 800 block of Welburn Avenue for driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or higher and hit and run.
-Efrain Diaz, 40, on Jan. 28 at 2:02 a.m. near the intersection of First and Sargent streets for driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or higher, driving under the influence while on probation and driving on a suspended license.
-Ethan Guillen, 19, on Jan. 28 at 10:45 p.m. near the intersection of Miller Avenue and Winged Foot Drive for driving under the influence and driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or higher.
Vandalism
-Jose Zuniga, 30, on Jan. 25 at 11:27 a.m. on the 1300 block of Pacheco Pass Highway for felony vandalism with damages amounting to $50,000 or more.
-Amado Hernandez, 45, on Jan. 28 at 7:15 a.m. on the 7300 block of Maple Street for vandalism with damages $400 or less.
Possession of a controlled substance
-Jenai Aguirre, 21, on Jan. 22 at 2 p.m. on the 7300 block of Hanna Street for possession of a controlled substance.
-Sonia Jimenez, 45, on Jan. 22 at 9:33 p.m. on the 100 block of Hornlein Court for felony possession of a controlled substance.
-Mariso Serrano Martinez, 27, on Jan. 24 at 3:45 p.m. on the 7300 block of Hanna Street for an outstanding warrant for possession of a controlled substance.
Multiple charges
-Zachary Hendrickson, 30, on Jan. 23 at 7:23 p.m. on the 100 block of Luchessa Avenue for two outstanding warrants: representing a false ID to a police officer and resisting, delaying or obstructing a peace officer.
-James Adams, 48, on Jan. 24 at 8:14 p.m. on the 7100 block of Camino Arroyo for petty theft and a felony parole hold.
-Samuel Sanchez, 62, on Jan. 26 at 1:20 p.m. on the 5900 block of Travel Park Circle for four outstanding warrants: driving on a suspended license, two counts of failure to appear and failing to provide evidence of financial responsibility.

-Jose Perez, 25, on Jan. 28 at 10:20 a.m. on the 7300 block of Hanna Street for hit and run, driving while unlicensed and failing to provide evidence of financial responsibility.
