An American Express card was fraudulently used to make $4,000 in unauthorized charges between June 1, 2007 and Dec. 1, 2007. The victim lives on the 1300 block of East Main Street in Morgan Hill and reported the charges 3:55 p.m. March 19.

A credit card was fraudulently used to withdraw $500 from two Morgan Hill ATMs between 7 p.m. March 15 and 9 a.m. March 16. The victims lives on the 500 block of East Middle Street in Morgan Hill and reported the theft 3:45 p.m. March 19.

Recovered stolen vehicle

A 1990 maroon Honda Accord stolen out of Gilroy was recovered, 2:20 a.m. March 19, near the intersection of Monterey Road and Dunne Avenue in Morgan Hill.

Vandalism

A 2005 white Nissan Pathfinder was vandalized, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. March 14, on the 10800 block of De Bruin Way. The car was scratched and dented.

The tires of a 2001 brown Jeep Grand Cherokee were flattened, between 7 a.m. March 10 and 11 a.m. March 18, on the 14700 block of Murphy Avenue in San Martin. The damage totaled $160.

Auto burglary

A car stereo, a digital camera and $500 worth of tools were stolen from a 1988 black Honda Accord parked on the 10700 block of Sixth Street, between 8:30 p.m. March 16 and 5 a.m. March 17.

Burglary of school building

The Gwinn School Child Development Center on the 100 block of North Street in San Martin was searched for valuables and a tuition box was removed from one of its wall, between 6:30 p.m. March 14 and 6:30 a.m. March 17. Nothing was taken from the building.

Grand theft

More than $2,500 worth of aluminum was stolen from Horizon Landscape Nursery on the 400 block of Lena Avenue in San Martin, between 5 p.m. March 14 and 7 a.m. March 17.
