Police blotter

Police are asking for the public’s help in tracking down two men who committed an armed robbery Dec. 10 at the Wilson Leather store at the Gilroy Premium Outlets before eluding capture.
At approximately 9:57 p.m., two males wearing black hooded sweatshirts and bandanas that covered their faces approached employees of the store as they were leaving at the end of the workday on the 8100 block of Arroyo Circle. One of the suspects, who had a black bandana covering his face, wielded a shotgun, demanded money and threatened to harm the victims if they did not comply, according to a press release from the Gilroy Police Department.
The other suspect, who had a red bandana covering his face, did not appear to be armed but also threatened the employees. The victims ultimately complied with their orders and both suspects fled the scene in a silver two-door Hyundai sedan. Despite the efforts of police officers who canvassed the area, both suspects were not found as of Tuesday afternoon.
No injuries were reported during the robbery, police said.
Police are asking anyone with information to call GPD Officer Contreras at (408) 846-0350. Parties wishing to remain anonymous may call We-Tip at 1-800-782-7463 (1-800-78-CRIME).
