lengthy battle with cancer.
Ronald Cressy died July 24 at his home in Morgan Hill after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Born October 14, 1941, to Vernon and Mae Cressy in Yankton, S.D., he married Mary Ann Knutson of Hartington, Neb., in 1962. Ron served in the USAF from 1961 to 1983, retired as a captain and settled in Morgan Hill. He then worked for ADAC Laboratories for 10 years.
Ron will be greatly missed by his wife, Mary Ann; children Steven and Michelle; six grandchildren; his mother, brothers and many friends and relatives.
His father and infant son preceded him in death.
Interment will be Aug. 4 at 11 a.m. at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Gustine. A memorial luncheon will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. at the home of Bob and Shirl Branaugh at 979 Oak Manor Way, Pleasanton. Please RSVP (925) 461-8558.
