Manny Salcedo had 13 kills and Justin Laveroni added 11 kills to lead Christopher High’s boys volleyball team to a 25-7, 25-16, 25-14 sweep of host Carmel on Thursday night.

Marcus Torres had seven kills and Wolfie Baumgartner added three kills for the Cougars.

BASEBALL

Travis Sammons went 2-for-3 with a home run, five RBIs, a walk and a steal, but Christopher suffered an 8-6 loss to Los Gatos on Thursday at the Valley Christian tourney.

Sean Corral was 3-for-3 with a walk, two doubles and one RBI for the Cougars, and Pat Valdez went 3-for-3 with a walk, three runs scored and three stolen bases.

SOFTBALL

Brittney Souza went 1-for-3 with a triple, but the visiting Cougars fell 6-0 to Monterey on Thursday.
