Robert Moynihan of Morgan Hill graduated from Army basic training at Fort Benning, Georgia, on May 7. He is the son of Susana and John Moynihan, brother to Rose and Isabella Moynihan, and boyfriend to Selina Campbell.
Varela
John and Vivian Varela of Morgan Hill celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 22. They are the parents of Gina Domenichini and husband David of San Martin; Christine Wanish and husband Paul of Gilroy; and Denise King and husband Steve of Gilroy; and grandparents of Marisa, John, Alexander, Isabella and Joseph.
Brown-Cook
Derek Cook of Morgan Hill and Lisa Brown of Missouri were married May 30, 2015, on the beach in Monterey. The bride is in her fourth year of medical school at the University of Missouri. The groom is a professional wakeboarder and runs Nor Cal Wakeboard Camps in Morgan Hill and Discovery Bay.  The couple spent their honeymoon on the island of Morea following the wedding.
