Dear Editor

Reading the latest printed opinion about the status of the war in Iraq and the president’s ability to finish the job leaves me questioning the writer’s agenda/motive.

So, are you against the war or upset that the roads, water, electricity, etc. projects have not been completed? The majority of the polls are far from the truth.

Sen. Joseph Lieberman just returned from his fourth trip to Iraq in 17 months. What he reports is contrary to what you hear in the media. The media concentrates the bad and negative news of the war because bad news sells and also feeds the hunger of the people that hate this president. I suggest we all stop acting like mushrooms and start going after the truth. Read the senator’s letter to the Wall Street Journal at www.lieberman.senate.gov. One last thing. What would you do if you were the president and the country was attacked and 3,000 non-military innocent citizens were killed?
