on the 6900 block of Holsclaw Road was torn down, between 3:15 p.m.
May 12 and 8 a.m. May 13. In addition, eight carrots were ripped
from the ground. The cost to grow the carrots was $50,000 and the
victim valued the final retail value of the carrots at $140,900 and
the damaged tent at $500.

Rusty Ross Lopez, 25, of Los Banos, 5:38 p.m. May 13, near the intersection of Monterey Road and California Avenue in San Martin for possession of methamphetamine and probation violation.
Don Mireles, 39, of the 300 block of West Main Avenue in Morgan Hill, 11:57 p.m. Tuesday, near the intersection of Monterey Highway and Cochrane Road in Morgan Hill for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Juan Carlos Ruiz, 27, of Los Banos, 4:54 p.m. May 12, on the 10000 block of Pacheco Pass Highway.
Cassandra McCulley, 24, of the 500 block of West Main Avenue in Morgan Hill, 12:30 p.m. May 11, near the intersection of West Edmundson and Sunnyside avenues in Morgan Hill for being under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

Felon in possession of a firearm
Kenneth Baird, 42, of Hollister, 3 p.m. May 11, on the 11900 block of Turlock Avenue in San Martin for being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition.
Possession of stolen property
Robert Joseph Leonard, 21, of First Street near its intersection with Santa Clara Avenue, 8:30 a.m. May 17, at his residence for petty theft from vehicles and possession of stolen property.

Kenneth Ricky Guyton, 22, of the 500 block of North Street in San Martin, 1 a.m. May 10, at 12695 Columbet Ave. in San Martin.

The windshield of a beige 1980 Ford F250 truck parked on the 14700 block of Murphy Avenue in San Martin was shattered, between 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. May 14, causing $150 in damages.

The rear quarter panel of a travel trailer at Uvas Pines RV Part on the 13200 block of Uvas Road in Morgan Hill was dented, between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. May 12, causing $1,500 in damages.
Commercial burglary
The lock to a door of Silva Ranches on the 12300 block of Santa Teresa Boulevard in San Martin was cut and the door was pried open, 1:30 a.m. May 14. Inside the office, drawers were opened, one locked drawer was pried open and $100 was taken from the locked drawer.
A fruit stand near the intersection of Santa Teresa Boulevard and Bailey Avenue in Morgan Hill was broken into, between 6 p.m. May 13 and 6:45 a.m. May 14. Two cash registers valued each at $200 were stolen along with $45 in coins.
Residential burglary
A home on the 11600 block of New Avenue was ransacked and about 300 pieces of jewelry, including a 14-carat gold necklace and an 18-inch pearl necklace, total value estimated at $5,000 to $6,000, were stolen, between 9:30 a.m. and 12:40 p.m. May 16. The home was entered through an unlocked sliding rear door.
A man broke into a house, possibly by using an old key, and stole tax papers, receipts and other paperwork. The man suspected of the crime is currently in civil litigation with the homeowner regarding $10,000 in outstanding payments.
Grand theft
An unknown amount of diesel was stolen from a fuel tank near the intersection of Highway 25 and Bolsa Road, between 5 p.m. May 8 and 7 a.m. May 12. Although the victim did not know the amount of fuel taken, he estimated the value of the stolen fuel to be more than $400.
A woman reported $2,800 in cash missing from an envelope in her home after two alarm system installers were working in her home near the intersection of Denio and Radtke avenues, between 4:30 p.m. May 13 and 6 p.m. May 15. She did not see the workers take the money but said it was there before they came and gone after they left. They were working in the same room the money was hidden, she said.
Attempted auto burglary
The driver’s side window of a green 1998 Honda Accord parked on the 10000 block of Santa Teresa Boulevard was broken, between 3:30 a.m. and 3:32 a.m. May 17. Nothing was taken but there were signs that the vehicle had been searched.
