A Gilroy man loaned his horse to another man who did not return
the horse by the agreed upon deadline. When the horse’s owner
approached the man who borrowed the horse, 7:40 p.m. Monday, the
man said he sold the horse without the owner’s permission.

Secilio Olvera, 37, of Gilroy, 3:45 p.m. Friday, near Wren Avenue and First Street.
Evading a peace officer
Silvana Elise Pavao, 19, of Morgan Hill, 12:51 p.m. Saturday, on the 1100 block of West Edmunson Avenue in Morgan Hill for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and evading a peace officer.

Grand theft

About $1,450 worth of electronics and credit cards were stolen from a woman’s unlocked white Chevrolet Tahoe on the 200 block of Cohansey Avenue, between 6 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. Sunday.
About $1,100 worth of cameras, computer and electronic equipment were stolen from a man’s unlocked green Honda CRV on the 200 block of Cohansey Avenue, between 7 p.m. Saturday and 5:45 a.m. Sunday.
Vandalism
A Morgan Hill man believes a male ex-employee dismantled part of the deck to his mobile home on the 5300 block of Little Uvas Road in Morgan Hill, causing about $500 in damage, between 11 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
A gray Ford F250 was tagged, causing $2,500 in damage on the 12000 block of New Avenue in San Martin, between 1:30 p.m. June 20 and 1 p.m. June 23.
Suspicious circumstances
Two people heard rocks being thrown at their house but did not see anyone. They then saw a gray Chevrolet Silverado speeding by their house, on the 12000 block of New Avenue in San Martin, between 12:20 and 12:29 a.m. Thursday.
Burglary
A bicycle, video camera, laptop and suit worth $9,600 total were stolen from a residence on the 13000 block of Colony Avenue in San Martin, between 12 a.m. June 13 and 6 p.m. June 20.
