A 21-year-old female and a 25-year-old male, both of the Monterey Bay area, are suspected to have used a check from a closed account to purchase $6,800 worth of auto parts, between 12 p.m. July 29 and 12:28 p.m. Aug. 13, near Castro Valley Road and U.S. 101.

Lost or stolen license plate

A man noticed his license plate missing from his trailer. The last time he saw it was July 12 and does not know where it could have fallen off.
