Junior midfielder Gaspar Figueroa scored on an assist from David Valencia to lift Gilroy High’s boys soccer team to a 1-0 win at Seaside on Tuesday night.
It was the third straight victory for the Mustangs, who improved to 9-8-2 overall and 4-5-2 in the Monterey Bay League Gabilan Division.
Everett Alvarez won 2-0 at Christopher, ending the season for the host Cougars at 10-7-2 and 6-4-2 in the MBL Pacific Division.
