Dear Editor,

In a recent letter in the Dispatch, there was the latest remarks from the town crackpot Alan Viarengo. This time with a new list of reasons to back up his point.

It is the same old put-downs, and it is just another list of success that really just masks the failures that go along with such lists.

Frankly, I’m still waiting for Mr. Viarengo’s explanation of what makes me such a hypocrite when his rhetoric smacks of being a socialist malcontent hypocrite.

The eighty-million dollar price tag for the special election is a joke, and anybody who supports it is a joke as well.

Anybody, and I repeat, anybody knows the money would be well spent somewhere else. If the governor wants a special election, let him pay for it.

Anybody, and I repeat, anybody can make up a list of things to back up a point, and any body can put down or complain or criticize. But again for every success I see for the Republicans, there is also just as much failure.

Nothing Alan Viarengo says or does can change that. All you Republicans are cry babies if you don’t get what you want.

Is Arnold Schwarzenegger a big success? Hardly. I didn’t vote for him. He can’t even pronounce the name of the state!

Is Bush now a big success? Hardly. The novelty act has worn off. Is the war in Iraq a big success? No way! So the Republicans are not as great as you think.
