But after two seasons playing for Gavilan College, Collins and Limon are a step closer to their dreams of playing for a four-year university. Men’s Basketball: Rams continue to show improvement
The Gavilan College men’s basketball team continues to show improvement in year two under coach David Kaplansky. The Rams (3-6) recently won back-to-back games, beating Ohlone-Fremont 69-58 on Dec. 4 and Merced 82-71 on Dec. 8. The victories came off the heels of a four-game losing streak.

After dropping the first set to Chabot Thursday, Gavilan tore through the next three straight to win 3-1 on the road. The Rams won 16-25, 25-17, 25-14, 26-24.
