Christopher racked up 12 hits en route to an 8-3 win over Monte Vista Christian Tuesday at home. The win was its fifth straight. 

SALINAS — Christopher entered Monday’s Monterey Bay League Finals with a goal to shoot 425 as a team. The Cougars did one better and shot a 424.

The Northern California Football Association announced a realignment in community college football conferences, which will introduce Gavilan to some new league foes.

GILROY—Life for the Coast Conference-South Champion Gavilan softball team keeps get sweeter.

Despite scoring three late runs, the Christopher softball team held off Salinas and picked up a much needed league win Thursday.

The Coast Conference-South Champion Gavilan softball team will start postseason play Saturday. 

GILROY —The goal of the Gavilan football program isn’t to win games—though it likes it when that happens, too. Head coach Spencer Gilford said the goal is to help his young student-athletes to the next level and achieve their goals of playing at a four-year institution. On Friday, two more players were able to do that.

SAN JOSE — Christopher linebacker Jacob Moen was a force to be reckoned with all season long.

GILROY — Though Tuesday was Gilroy coach Brian Boyd’s birthday, the cake and balloons in the school’s library weren’t for him. He did, however, receive one very special present in the form of his son Brandon signing with Pacific University in Forest Grove, Ore. on an academic scholarship where he will play football next season.

GILROY — For the first time in school history Christopher walked away the winner of the crosstown clash with Gilroy.
