Lady kickers tie score in 2nd half but fall to Woodside

GILROY—The $2 million renovation project at Gilroy High School's Garcia-Elder Sports Complex, which was delayed earlier this summer, remains on track for a Sept. 25 completion date.

GILROY—It was eerily silent as Jimmy Lemberger stood at the plate in the bottom of the seventh inning. Josiah Wiley, the tying run, stood on second base and all Lemberger had to do was bring him home to keep Gilroy’s chances alive.

But, for one reason or another, the Christopher High senior wasn’t quite convinced any of those destinations had that “it” factor.
