Invisible Children is a film documenting the effects of a rebel group in Africa’s northern Uganda called the Lord’s Resistance Army. For the past 18 years the LRA has abducted children from their homes. The film chronicles three naive journalists as they discover thousands of children sleeping in the streets to avoid abduction. The screening will be followed by a discussion with the filmmakers, who have been screening their documentary at various locations around the state.
