Returning town history to Gilroy

Imagine my surprise when I received a phone call from a woman who said she had some Gilroy history to return our town. Her name was Carol Cox Faust, and it turned out that her father had been Rev. Ezelle Cox, pastor of the Methodist Church of Gilroy in 1938 when it burned to the ground.

St. Mary School Cupcakes Brighten Seniors’ Day

Eighth graders at St. Mary School baked and decorated more than 150 cupcakes on March 30 and delivered them to the residents of Wheeler Manor. They even delivered cupcakes door to door at the residence community for those who were unable to make it to the dining room.
