DEAR EDITOR:
Thank you, Cynthia Walker! In pointing out that, once again, silly Dennis Taylor “used his usual care in ascertaining his facts … specifically, none” (letters, Sept.16) you clarified and corrected several of silly Dennis’ insults toward me.
I must state that there are two realities I and silly Dennis live within.
My reality: I am physically disabled because of multiple sclerosis. Neither science, medicine, nor today’s ever-expanding technology will improve my condition as there is no cure, only improved methods of repressing its effects – and those primarily directed at the newer cases.
Silly Dennis’ reality: He is mentally disabled. Neither an education in ethics, honesty, integrity, common sense, reality, or even self-awareness will improve his condition as there is no cure for such an undisciplined, closed and unprincipled mind – only opportunities to learn and grow he will never recognize nor comprehend.
In today’s social world, Cynthia, who would you say has the better life?
