Gilroy police responded to an armed robbery at 7:33 p.m. Monday near the intersection of Princevalle Street and Filbro Drive in Gilroy. 

Police say two suspects armed with hand guns robbed two juvenile male victims at gun point yesterday. The victims were walking home when the crime occurred according to a GPD press report. Police say the suspects took the victims’ backpacks and gym bags, which contained cash and personal items. One of the suspects yelled a “gang slur” at the victims, according to the press release. Police say the suspects were last seen running south on Princevalle Street after the robbery.

The victims were not injured during the incident. The suspects are still at large. No firearms were recovered. 

Both suspects are described as Hispanic males between the ages of 17 and 19, weighing between 170 to 195 pounds and measuring around 5-feet-9-inches. The first suspect was wearing a gray, hooded sweatshirt and light brown pants. The second suspect was wearing a dark, hooded sweatshirt and dark pants. Both suspects are described as having short, crew-cut hairstyles and thin mustaches.
