The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority announced that it will operate buses and light rail on a regular schedule Monday. All other services including the ACE train and shuttles, Highway 17, Dumbarton Express and MST 55 express services will also operate regular service on the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
VTA riders can connect to the San Jose Diridon Caltrain Station to ride the Freedom Train to San Francisco, which departs at 9:30 a.m. There are also many events planned at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library in downtown San Jose throughout the weekend. The library is served by VTA light rail and bus lines 22, 63, 64, 72, 73 and 82.
