Virginia Military Institute women’s water polo star Caitlyn Jackson, who was raised in Gilroy, was named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week on Tuesday.
Jackson, a freshman center defender from Archbishop Mitty High in San Jose, won the same award Feb. 12.
