My husband and I will surely miss the fine dining and great atmosphere at J. R. Brewski’s.
We have lived in Gilroy for 19 years and have yet to see a great restaurant succeed in this town. We have enjoyed many dinners at Brewski’s and haven’t minded one bit having to wait for a table on a busy night.
We have enjoyed Karaoke on Friday nights and the great entertainment on Saturday evenings.
We have come to know Jeff and Robin Parsons and have greatly enjoyed their company.
It is unfortunate that a restaurant of this caliber cannot make it in a town such as Gilroy.
As I have stated before unfortunately Gilroy never has, and probably never will, support a great restaurant. Look at what has happened to the Old City Hall where a few restaurants have opened up through the years, only to close too soon. We will surely miss J.R. Brewski’s and wish Jeff and Robin Parsons much success in whatever the future may bring them.
