Bautista home.
William D. Gansberger died Monday evening at his San Juan Bautista home.
He was 60 years old and a native of Hollister. He had lived all his life in San Benito County and was a member of The Sheetmetal Workers’ Union Local 104. He was also a member of Ducks Un-limited and the National Rifle Association. Gansberger was an avid duck hunter.
He is is survived by his partner, Darlene Anger of San Juan Bautista, his son Michael Gansberger of San Martin, his brother and his wife, Bob and Debbie Gansberger of San Juan Bautista and his grandchild, Kaitlin Gansberger of San Martin and a nephew Donald Gansberger of Biloxi, Miss. He was preceded in death by a son, David Gansberger, who died in 1988. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held Sunday at 11 a.m. at the San Juan Bautista VFW Hall.
Arrangements and cremation are through Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home and Gavilan Hills Crematory. A private family inurnment is planned.
Donations are preferred to Visiting Nurses’ Association or Ducks Unlimited c/o Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home.
