History: 1st United Federal Credit Union has been in business for more than 45 years, opening its doors in June, 1960.
Philosophy: The Credit Union is in business for two main purposes:
1. To provide local businesses a free employee benefit. Businesses can use 1st United for promoting direct deposit and providing a variety of discounts.
2. To serve individuals and families to provide a low cost alternative to banks. The Credit Union offers consumer and mortgage loans as well as savings and investment accounts.
