Gavilan used a big second half to pick up its first win of the year.
Hibsen Tamayo-Davila and Edwin Galeana both scored for the Rams, lifting them to a 2-1 win over Lassen (1-3-3) for their first win of the season at home Saturday.Â
Galeana netted the game winner in the 78th minute and was assisted by Lachlan Moye.Â
Lassen scored in the fifth minute and took a 1-0 lead into halftime. Tamayo-Davila scored the equalizer in the 55th minute on an assist from Ignacio Castellanos.Â
Angel Trejo was stellar in net for Gavilan, making 11 saves in the game.
The Rams (1-3-2) will open league Coast Conference-North play with a 4 p.m. home contest against Cabrillo Tuesday.Â
