A 20-year-old driver dozed off behind the wheel and swerved off Hecker Pass Highway near Santa Teresa Boulevard, crashing into an electric pole Thursday morning.
The driver of a Ford truck heading eastbound on Highway 152 drifted into the opposite lane and veered off the road to avoid oncoming traffic, police said. He collided with utility poles before the vehicle came to a rest, police said.
No one was injured in the crash but Hecker Pass near Santa Teresa was closed from 7:42 a.m., when police responded to the scene, until 9:05 a.m.
