off at the Little League Softball World Series.

Our family is so proud of those Garlic Girls and the coaching staff for all that they accomplished over the past month finishing off at the Little League Softball World Series.
We have enjoyed following all the games in the Dispatch and the radio coverage out of Portland, Ore. Your coverage has been great!
It is sad to me however, that in this day and time that the powers to be still don’t give the softball teams the same coverage on television as they do the boys. One day I hope this changes. It would have been great to see Alissa hit that stand up double, or Lindsay hit the single to drive in Michelle and Brenna home to tie the game and all the other great plays made by Sam, Melanie, Danielle, Elaina, Marisa, Dani, Stephanie, Adrianna. I know that when they all get home this weekend, family, friends and fellow softball players will be making phone call, stopping by the homes and congratulating those girls for all the hard work.
I just want to say a BIG thanks girls and we are all very proud of you!
