DEAR EDITOR:

“A city needs to be a place that you go to for a reason, but stay in for no reason at all.” I found much food for thought in this statement made by Pamela Anderson-Brule, San Jose Architect.

Perhaps it would help us to ponder her thought, again and again, as we work to breathe new life into our downtown. Let’s design places for everyone, so that we truly feel the unique sense of place that is Gilroy, friendly, interesting, and welcoming.

“A CITY NEEDS TO BE A PLACE THAT YOU GO TO FOR A REASON, BUT STAY IN FOR NO REASON AT ALL.”
