More often than not, this forum is the lectern for one of our
town criers to launch some manner of criticism or ridicule of a
fellow citizen’s viewpoint or circumstance. However, the
aforementioned is not my purpose this day.

More often than not, this forum is the lectern for one of our town criers to launch some manner of criticism or ridicule of a fellow citizen’s viewpoint or circumstance. However, the aforementioned is not my purpose this day.
My purpose is to recognize and applaud the current level of professionalism this newspaper circulation is experiencing.
The newspaper is blessed with a staff of gifted writers, photographers, layout artists, proof readers, supplement editors and delivery operations.
It is refreshing how this paper has been transformed from a mockery in the eras of yesterdays, to currently one of community pride. No longer can the derrogatory nicknames be voiced about this community newspaper, for distinction and merita has been earned. Well done.
