A bicyclist was hospitalized Tuesday afternoon when he ran a stop sign at the corner of Crawford Drive and Clark Way and collided with an approaching vehicle, police said.

Paco Rodriguez, a corporal with the Gilroy Police Department, said the cyclist’s name would not be released because he was a minor.

He was transported to a hospital with scrapes and complaints of pain, Rodriguez said.
