GILROY – The American Red Cross is hosting a blood drive on Wednesday, June 16, at First Baptist Church, 8455 Wren Ave., from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Donors must be 17 years or older, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health. American Red Cross volunteer blood donors are required to provide identification before donating blood. To save time make an appointment at 1-800-GIVE-LIFE.

Fair Trade Dialogue

GILROY – The Wize Owl Bookstore, 8060 Santa Teresa Blvd., will host a dialogue about the Fair Trade issue, including viewing the 11-minute video ‘Agents of Change’ on Thursday, June 17, from 7 to 8 p.m.

Bring your passion for justice and a desire for change. Coffee will be served.

Eat for Life

GILROY – The Black Bear Diner presents ‘Walk Like a Bear Day,’ a fundraiser in support of the Gilroy Relay For Life on Thursday, June 17.

Just eat at any time and give your receipt to your server.

The restaurant will then donate 10 percent of the receipts to the Gilroy Relay For Life.

The Black Bear is located at 395 Leavesley Road, Gilroy.
