Cathryn (Whitmore) Bauer
Cathryn, youngest daughter of Betty and Bruce (deceased) Whitmore, has died after a brief illness with cancer. She attended elementary school in Morgan Hill, high school in Willamina, OR, and college at Chico State, graduating with a Master of Science degree. She is survived by her mother and five sisters, Jayne Xavier, Janeen Whitmore, Carol Arthur, Karen Coonen, Kristen Keller. Services were held on July 24, 2009.

McCabe Road in Santa Nella, California.Dorothy Edna Angell, age 88, passed away of natural causes Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Mabie Southside Skilled Nursing Facility in Hollister, California. Dorothy dedicated her life to her husband and family. Ms. Angell was the mother of two children. She was an avid golfer during her golden years. Dorothy was an excellent wife, mother, and neighbor. Her husband, Robert Clinton Angell, precedes her in death.Dorothy is survived by: her daughter, Susan A. Angell of Long Beach, California; son, Robert W. Angell and his wife Teresa Angell of Davis, California; her two granddaughters, Leilani D. Angell of Napa, California and Michelle A. Angell of Cambria, California.
Pamela Jean Recht May 30, 1953 – August 21, 2012
Pamela Jean Recht, loving wife, daughter, mother, grandma, great-grandma and best friend passed away on August 21, 2012, after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband- David, mother- Delores, children- Kevin, Rachelle, Elisabeth, Misty, Stanley. grandchildren- Devon, Aundria, Michael, Christopher, Tristan, Felicia, Matthew, Johnathan, Fallon, Cody, Kaylee, Samantha, Savanna, Benjamin and great- grandchild- Kolton. Sister-Sherry, Brother-Jim, nieces and nephews.
Juana (Jennie) Asin
Born in New Idria, CA of Basque Parents, Hermenegildo Casabona Asin and Teresa Athine Asin. Lifelong resident of San Benito County. Attended local schools and graduated from San Benito High School, Class of 1939. As a young woman she helped run the family boarding house in Hollister and Panoche, where she often translated for many of the residents. Jennie married her first husband Frank Mendez in 1942 and for seventeen years they owned and operated the Panoche Inn as well as farming, raising cattle and sheep. In 1958 the family moved into Hollister where Frank and Jennie owned various orchards until Frank's retirement in 1975. Following Franks passing, Jennie married her second husband, Harry A. Hill. They were married for almost 30 years until Harry's passing in January 2010.
