Beloved husband of Gertrude (Gertie) Mills for 54 years, Dennis was also a loving father to Terry (Tony) Ageno, Denise (Gregg) Boucher, and Debbie (Rick) Slater, a devoted grandfather to Leanne (Justin) Petersen, Sid Slater, Stephanie Ageno, Bryce Boucher, and Danielle Boucher, and a Great-grandfather to Skyler Gregg, Lilly Gregg, and Topher Petersen. Dennis was preceded in death by his daughter, Dana, and also leaves behind his step-father, Robert (Pat) Ryan.

Catherine Lucille Carter
Catherine was born on November 4, 1939 to Paul and Catherine Scheck in Gilroy and entered into eternal rest at her home in Modesto, California on October 13, 2008. Catherine is survived by her devoted husband of 47 years, Marcus Carter of Modesto, daughter Paula, son-in-law Joe, grandchildren Joey and Ben of La Quinta, California, nephews Sparky, Jim and Rick Trujillo of Gilroy and niece Laurie Camarillo of Los Banos. She was preceded in death by her loving son, Jeffrey Paul Carter, parents and sister, Shirley Trujillo. Catherine was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, aunt and friend. Her caring, supportive and friendly nature will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park under the direction of Habing Family Funeral Home. He is survived by his dear wife of 56 years, Lupe Cordova, loving father to John Cordova, Steve (Bertha) Cordova, and Martha Cordova, brother of Manuel, Robert, Jesse, Emma, and Connie; 9 grandchildren and 10 great -grandchildren.

John H. Fields November 2, 1927 – December 14, 2011
John, a loving father, husband, and retired music and English teacher at SBHS, died peacefully at his Hollister home on Dec.14th, 2011. He is survived by his sons and their wives, Scott and Becky Fields and Mark and Diana Fields all of Hollister, and his former wife, Nettie Fields of Hollister. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
