Resident of Gilroy, respected Elder of the Amah Mutsun Tribal Band. A California Indian, Ramona descends from the Chumash, Yokuts, and Amah Mutsun Tribes. Ramona has ancestorial ties to missions Santa Barbara, San Antonio, Carmel, Santa Cruz, San Juan Bautista, and Santa Clara. Ramona was born in Madera, CA on October 16, 1928. She married Valentin Lopez of Gilroy in 1947. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. Ramona was a homemaker and worked Yard Duty, with the Morgan Hill Unifies School District.

Diana passed away after a lengthy illness on Tuesday, October 16, 2007. She was the wife of James Strickland of Hollister, daughter of Manuel Villegas and the late Lupe Villegas, mother of Henry, Sheena, Erika and Stephen Strickland, grandmother of 6, sister of Stella Gomez, Vickie Villegas and Frank Villegas. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts. Diana worked at the Santa Clara County Superior Court as a Clerk for the past 17 years.
Passed away in Tucson, AZ. The son of the late Elizar and Eduviges Othon. Siblings Artemiza Acosta, Maria Avila, Evelia Gomez, Antonio & Gloria Othon.
