Barbara E. Brant

Barbara Brant, age 70, passed on at her home in Morgan Hill on the morning of November 17, 2007. She is a long time resident of the San Jose and Morgan Hill area and is survived by her loving husband of 49-½ years, Archie L. Brant, Sr., 5 children, 14 grand children and 14 great-grand-children.

Kenneth Francis Peer, Sr.

Kenneth Francis Peer, Sr. died Sunday at the age of 85. He was a native of Aurora, Nebraska, moving to Hollister nearly 40 years ago. He was a WWII Marine Corp. veteran and worked as a General Motors Mechanic most of his life. Kenneth loved camping and traveling with his R.V. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn R. Peer of Hollister, daughter, Leanna Christensen of Fresno and a son, Kenneth Peer, Jr., wife, LaVerna of Hollister, grandfather of Cynthia Lovelace, Tria Nogo, Clay, Katie and Natalie Peer. Also survived by one great grandson, Cole Nogo.

Myrl E. Smith

Myrl Smith passed away in Hollister. He was born in Missouri and made his home in Hollister since 1937. He was preceded in death by Faye, his wife of 51 years, and his brother, Wayne Smith. He has two surviving sisters, Reba Mederios of Isleton, CA and Helen Davis of Butler, MO, two brothers, Jerry Smith of Hollister and Denzil Smith of Salinas, his son and his wife, Larry Smith (Sharon) of Butte, MT and a daughter and her husband, Debbie Ciccotti(Harold) of Fremont, sisters in law, Helen Smith of Hollister and Mary Welch of Spokane, WA. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Guy, Tassie and Cody Smith, Harold, Eric, Aaron, Mark and Tracey Ciccotti and 7 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Donald G. Wyman

On July 31, 2011, Don Wyman's soul took wings. A devoted family man, caring friend, and avid bird watcher, Don will be greatly missed. He lived with great heart, fully committed to the people and the causes in his life. He was a dedicated "Poppy", rooting for his grandchildren during their games, or fighting on behalf of the under-served.

Kathleen M. Bouchey

KATHLEEN M. BOUCHEY, 66, of Gilroy, passed away from cancer. She was the wife of George Bouchey of Gilroy, sister of Clyde McDonald of Florida and Rob McDonald of Ohio, sister-in-law of Juanita Wallace of Gilroy, Wanda Bouchey of Galt, CA, and Mary Wine of Riverside, aunt of Cindy Hayes of Gilroy, and Teri Montgomery of Gilroy. She was a native of Akron, OH. Kathy worked as a bookkeeper for the Gilroy Dispatch for 11 years.

Joan Dixie Mathers

Joan Dixie (Whittingham) Mathers of Morgan Hill, was loving, compassionate, artistic and impish. Dearly loved mom and grammie, Joan was born in Canada on August 5, 1922 and entered into Heaven November 25,2007. She is survived by her children; Jan Mathers of Aptos, Jack and Carol Mathers of Salem, Oregon, Cindy and Roger Brown of Hollister, grandchildren; Jenny Molina, Phil Brown, Marcie Moles and Christina Brown, and great-grandsons; Tristan Molina and Riley Moles. Friends wishing to join in a celebration of Joan's life are invited to Windmill Mobile Home Estates clubhouse in Morgan Hill on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at 1:00 P.M.

Pauline K. Lucchelli

Pauline K. Lucchelli passed away Wednesday afternoon in Hollister at the Mabie Southside Skilled Nursing facility at the age of 88. Pauline was born and lived all her life in San Juan Bautista. She is survived by her husband, Frank Lucchelli of San Juan Bautista and her sons, Frank Lucchelli of Pacifica and John Lucchelli, wife, Tillie, of Fresno, sister of Lena Kapphahn of Fresno and the late John and Joe Cravea and Josephine Lucchelli. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Douglass E. Rees Jr.

Douglass Eugene Rees Jr., 48, of Meridian, Idaho, went to be with Christ on May 22, 2007. He graduated from Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill, CA in 1977. Doug is survived by his wife Denise Lynn Rees; two sons and one daughter-in-law and his parents, Douglass and Janice Rees of Morgan Hill, CA.

Nancy Florence (Arno) Campagna

Nancy Campagna died on May 15, 2007 in Gilroy, CA. She was the wife of the late John R. Campagna. Nancy is survived by her daughters, Joan N. Lopez (Richard) and Christine E. Vogel. She is also survived by her 2 grandchildren, Laura Lopez and Kyle Vogel, both of San Jose. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
