Linda Mae Dellanini passed away at her home June 5, 2009 at the age of 57. Linda is survived by her brothers, Ray (Lupe) Dellanini of Gilroy and Robert (Mary) Dellanini of Fremont; aunt of Paul Dellanini, Patricia Dellanini, Joseph Marphis, Roger Marphis, and Sara Dellanini.
Charles William O'Brien passed away at St. Louise Regional Medical Center on December 25th at the age of 77 years. Charles was born in Hollister, and lived in Hollister all his life. He was a graduate of San Benito High School and was active in both football and track. After being afflicted with polio, Charlie was the first person in San Benito County to utilize the iron lung. Charlie was a U. S. Postal employee for 35 years as well as being a volunteer fireman, and a member of the Lions and Elk's organizations. He always enjoyed assisting on their barbeques. Charles is survived by his son Mark O'Brien of Japan, his daughter Kimberly P. Rivera of Colorado Springs, his granddaughter and grandson Jessica P. Rivera and Marco A. Granger-Rivera of Colorado. He was predeceased by his brother John O'Brien. As per his wishes no services are planned. Private cremation and inurnment has been held. Audrey Rachel Gomes passed away in Hollister last Friday at 8:20 A.M. Born in London, Audrey journeyed to Hollister as the youngest of war brides on the Queen Mary.
Mary Louise passed away peacefully at the age of 89 in Folsom, CA. She is preceded in death by the love of her life and husband of 56 years, Jack L. Barr, Sr., and parents Candelaria and Francisco Cota. Mary Louise is loved and will be greatly missed by her 3 sons and their wives Ralph (Ingrid), Gregory (Karen), and Jack Jr. (Phyllis), grandchildren Tony, Ronny, Kathy, Bradley, Jill, Donnie, Christine, Hannah, Jason, Deanne, Greg, 18 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson due April 2010. She will also be missed by sisters Jessie, Alberta, Carrie, Juanita, and many relatives/friends. A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 8530 Forest Street, Gilroy, CA, on Saturday, March 6, 2010, at 2:00 P.M. Mom, go with God and say hi to Dad for us. Charlie passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 27, 2008 at the age of 60 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his devoted wife Sandy, daughter and son-in-law Wendy and Dave Lowi and their 2 children Carly and Laine, his 2 brothers Bill McDow and Devlin Jones and their families, and a large company of extended family and friends.
