Brian Greene Pence passed away at his home in Hollister on Saturday at the age of 39. Born in Hollister having lived here all his life. Brian was a heavy equipment operator in construction for nearly 20 years. Survived by his mother, Patsy Pence of Hollister, his brothers, Sam and Loren Pence of Marysville and Anthony Pence, wife, Melissa, of Menifee,CA. Brian is also survived by his grandmother, Winnie Pence of Madera, 3 nieces and 4 nephews and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Entered into rest in Hollister at the age of 89. Memorial services: Saturday, April 19, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at The First Presbyterian Church, 2066 Cienega Rd. Hollister. Friends are invited.

Mass: Tues. 2/15/2011 @ 11:00 A.M. Sacred Heart Church.

Memorial service will be held 3:00 P.M., Saturday, 11/12 at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 651 Broadway, Gilroy.

Estela Ortiz, age 83, of Morgan Hill, passed away February 19, 2007.

Waltraud I. (Trudy) Rasmussen passed away at her Hollister home. She was born in Weimar,Germany and came to Hollister from Marina 33 years ago. She is preceded in death by her husband, Neal Rasmussen who died in 1966.

Arabela Rose Barajas died at birth in San Jose. She is the daughter of Jackie Barajas of Hollister.

Jean R. Silva of Morgan Hill, passed away November 15, 2007 in San Jose.

Mom passed away peacefully with family at her bedside. She will be missed deeply by everyone who loves her. She journeys before two daughters, Cindy & Stacy Weathermon, two grandchildren, Sabrina and Brian and great-grandson Dylan, brothers & sisters: Nancy Morgan, Dorothy Gaither, Virginia Buell, Charles, Bill, Alan, Ronny & Donald Lakeman. She loved family outings at Pismo Beach, family card games, bingo & bowling. She now joins her parents, Jacob & Della Lakeman to walk with God along a never-ending sunset filled with peace and love; until we meet again.
