Lawrence Masini, age 56, of Seaside. CA, former native of Gilroy, CA, passed away on June 12th. He attended Gilroy High School and Gavilan College. He is the husband of Kimberly Masini of Seaside. He was a retired Electrical Engineer. He is the son of the late Domenic and Thelma Masini of Gilroy, the father of Tara Casey of Tacoma, WA, and the grandfather of Christopher and Cody Casey of Tacoma, WA. Josefina R. Ceja passed away at 73 at her home in Hollister on Tuesday. She was born in Strawn, Texas and came to Hollister 50 years ago. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Teamsters Union Local 890. She had worked for over 20 years in local canneries.

Fay Mildred Hissim, 84, passed away Friday, June 4th, 2010, at St. Luke's Hospital, Meridian, ID. Fay was born 6th of 9 children at home in West Brookfield, MA, the daughter of Paul and Louise Buzzell. Fay grew up on a dairy farm and attended a one-room school in West Brookfield then graduated from high school at Warren, MA. She attended Boston University for a short time. She graduated Western Union School at Washington, NJ as a telegrapher in 1944. The day after graduation she met her life-long love, PFC Marlin Andrew Hissim. They were married on July 1st,1945 and resided in several different cities during their marriage including Oxford, NJ, Los Gatos and Gilroy, CA, and Boise, ID.
Dale C. Smith, passed away on 5/29/08. A native of San Jose, CA. Dale was a loving father who enjoyed country living. He is survived by his wife Lynne and children Lori, Tim, and Dana. A gathering of friends and family will be held June 14, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. 17821 Pesante Rd. Salinas, CA. Dale will be deeply missed.
